5 Stars from The Wine Kingdom for Argento Reserva Cabernet Sauvignon 2009

Exciting news from Japan, where The Wine Kingdom magazine has awarded a 5-star rating (the highest possible) to Argento Reserva Cabernet Sauvignon 2009. This is an excellent result in a blind tasting in one of the most influential major wine magazines in Japan — 5 stars is not easy to achieve!

Here is a rough translation of the comments from the magazine about our wine:

“Cabernet Sauvignon from Argentina in which we can enjoy round flavours. This producer was established in 1998 in Mendoza and is an up-and-coming winery in the Japanese market. Grapes were grown in high-altitude vineyards at 700 to 1,300 metres above sea level with many sunny days. We can enjoy matured berry fruit flavours and a round taste. Hints of mineral, full tannins and persistent acidity.”
