Marisa D’Vari, acclaimed luxury travel and fine wine writer, and publisher of AWineStory.com, recently attended a dinner hosted by Argento at Industria Argentina in Tribeca, New York City, where she met (and was charmed by) Winemaker Nick Goldschmidt, General Manager Juan Pablo Lupiañez, and Marketing Manager Polly Long.

The menu for the evening consisted of adventurous, but traditionally-influenced Argentinian foods matched exquisitely with Argento wines.

Argento Cool Climate Pinot Grigio was served as a welcoming aperitif. Our Torrontés was matched with crab ceviche; the Bonarda with smoked Patagonian trout; the Malbec with fava beans and potatoes; the Cabernet with crispy duck; and finally the Reserva Malbec was paired perfectly with slow cooked short ribs of beef.
