Stephen Tanzer’s International Wine Cellar has recently rated two Argento wines.

Argento Cabernet Sauvignon 2010, Mendoza – 88 points
“Good full medium red. Blackberry, cherry and violet on the lively nose. A coolish, nicely delineated midweight with a restrained sweetness to its black fruit and mint flavors. Finishes firmly tannic and persistent, with good energy.”

Argento Bonarda 2010, Mendoza – 87 points
“Musky raspberry, plum and chocolate aromas lifted by a floral quality. Sweet raspberry fruit nicely cut by fresh acidity… the tannins are ripe and smooth.”
